Best Breakfast Ever

I’m not a big fan of breakfast. In fact, I would forget about it completely except that it really is the most important meal of the day. I suppose we all know it’s true, but knowing why has made the difference for me.

When we eat breakfast, it jump starts our metabolism for the day. And who doesn’t want that?! So I eat breakfast everyday now. And this morning, more honestly, this afternoon I made a great breakfast that was totally filling and healthy.

I scrambled three egg whites and added some grilled veggies left over from last night. Then I toasted two pieces of Weight Watchers Multi-Grain toast and even added some cream cheese. 🙂 So I had a very full plate of food worth only 3 points. I added some fresh fruit making it 4 points total, and it was insanely good.

Spicing up the egg whites is my new favorite way to jump start my metabolism. What do you do for breakfast?

    Wow, that sounds like a wonderful breakfast for sure! Sadly, I usually skip it or have a big bowl of cereal. I'm very bad about breakfast and need to definitely work on it. You are an inspiration!

    I love cereal, so I haven't given that up, but I measure cereal and milk until I know pretty well how each type looks in my bowl.
    Occasionally I have eggs, but usually for lunch.

    I eat cereal for breakfast sometimes too…My cereal of choice is Fiber One Honey Clusters…yum! 🙂 I don't prefer eggs by any means, but they're a better choice for me since I get up and sit at a desk for work…I'm not super active until around lunch time then I head to the gym. 🙂
