Fun Food Finds!

Whoever says healthy food can’t taste good has never eaten dinner at my house. Tonight for dinner, I made turkey burgers with cheese and baked fries.  I also made a wedge salad and baked spaghetti squash.  

If it sounds like I ate a lot tonight it’s because I did. 🙂  The spaghetti squash (which was seasoned with pepper and soy butter) was worth 0 points, as was the lettuce for the wedge. 
I’m excited to say that I had a satisfying meal, and I enjoyed the spaghetti squash enough to have it again soon.  

Preparing the squash was simple and totally worth it.  I poked holes in it, baked it for an hour of 375 degrees then let it cool.  When it cooled enough to touch, I cleaned out the seeds then used a fork to scrape it out.  It really did look like spaghetti!  And with a little seasoning, it was delicious!

    we had putzgetty squash for dinner too. We had it with homemade tomato sauce and grilled chicken sausage. We just microwave it though. Comes out the same. We do either depending on if we feel like waiting.
