Today was a fantastic day. I started my day with my boyfriend’s family…I handed out candy while they did some trick-or-treating. Then I had a mani/pedi (because I didn’t have time to do it yesterday) before going to a Halloween event downtown.
I dressed up as a baker. And I even baked homemade chocolate chip cookies today to complete my role. 🙂 I ate one, along with other foods that I don’t eat on a regular basis. I didn’t over eat, but I did not eat many healthy foods. And I can honestly say that I feel so much better when I do not indulge in too much of that stuff. Tomorrow is a new day, and I will try to remember that. 😉
We came in pretty early this evening to watch the Yankees play the Phillies in Game 3 of the World Series. Thank you DVR. The Yankees are now 2-1 which is a-w-e-s-o-m-e! My Longhorns also won today which made my good day come full circle.
How was Halloween for you? Did anyone else dress up? I may be in my late 20’s, but I felt as carefree as a kid today. I hope that your day was as good as mine. 🙂
Now I’m off to bed, and I’m excited to gain an hour tonight. Don’t forget to change your clocks friends. Goodnight from New York!

Our clock has been set back last weekend so I'm already used to the new time 🙂
We don't celebrate Halloween in Holland so I didn't dress up but I do like to see how everyone in the States is doing.

I've picked out a few chocolate pieces of candy from my boys. I don't care to go all out on that stuff any more either! I don't want to be in a sugar coma!
