I lost enough this week to receive another 5 pound star. Yay. My total weight loss, so far, is 71.4. And while I didn’t lose much in December, I lost enough to get close to my 75 pound New Year’s goal. And I’m looking forward to hitting that mark in the coming weeks.
If you had told me I’d be going into this year 71.4 pounds thinner, I would have smiled and said “I hope you’re right.” But now I know it’s true. And looking at myself in pictures (from tonight’s workout) I see a smaller person with considerably less flab.
Tonight I did level one and level two of the 30-Day shred. And I’d love to shout it from the rooftop that I could do it. Instead, I’ll just pat my back here…and on facebook…and on twitter. I can do so much more with my body than I knew I could do. And it’s only going to get better.
So when you feel like skipping your workout just remember that if you press on, your efforts will pay off big time!
I’m so thankful to be going into this year as a healthier person. And I cannot wait to gain strength over the next year while shedding weight. Ahhh, life is good tonight, my friends…life is good.
