Friend Makin’ Monday: My Daybook

I cannot believe it’s Monday again already! I hope the next week flies by because I’ll be packing for our trip to Las Vegas where I’ll be seeing friends from Oklahoma, Los Angeles, Washington and Indiana! Seriously…it’s going to be a fun trip! I can’t wait!

Anyway, this week we are finishing several sentences with our own thoughts. If you’d like to join the fun just click on Amber’s blog for details. 🙂
Here’s my list:

Outside my window…It’s dark outside and very, very windy…

I am thinking….about how excited I am to be hosting the Family and Friends Getting Fit Weekly Challenge on my blog starting today. And I’m hoping that many of you will join me!
I am thankful…that I have lost over 75 pounds.

I am praying…that God will give my boyfriend a totally successful and prosperous week at work and full recovery of his arm after the minor surgery he had last week.

I am reading…”The Other Woman” by Jane Green. Most of her books have not been up to my lofty chick lit standards, but I already owned it. I bought it over the summer and didn’t bother with it after reading her other books –until now.

I am creating…a list of groceries that I need to buy when I’m no longer ill. I should have placed an order online, but I like picking the produce myself.

From the kitchen…Tonight I made Hungry Girl’s Onion Rings, and OMG! They were SO good! And at only 2 WW points per serving they became one of my new favorite snacks. Tomorrow I’m making Faux Fried Chicken.

Around the house…The laundry is done. The dishes are done. Everything is nice and tidy. I will vacuum tomorrow before my friend, Carol, comes to workout just because I love the clean scent of Mr. Clean carpet freshener.

One of my favorite things…is traveling and spending time with friends. I am really looking forward to doing both next week on the other side of the country. I hope it’s warmer there!

A few plans for the rest of the week…I’d like to walk on the treadmill Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, attend my meeting Thursday (one of the things I look forward to the most every week) and to spend an afternoon in Connecticut with girlfriends.

I’d love to read your answers on each of these topics. And I would definitely love to hear about your favorite things. Happy Monday Friends!

Sorry it's so yucky there!! I'm sure that LV will be MUCH warmer. 🙂

I read Babyville {I think it's called} by Jane Green while I was trying to get pregnant with Saylor. Liked that one. Have a few more of hers that I need to read.

Yay on the friends & family challenge! And double yay for 75 pounds!!

I also love picking out my own produce. But then again, I always do. 😛 No fancy shmancy ordering for me. After all, I'm not a *yourjob*. 🙂

Amber, hahahaha…I think it has less to do with what I do and more that I live in NYC where stuff like that happens.

It looks like the onion rings are going to be part of my day again today. I feel a trend setting in…low sodium, really high in fiber, crispy and delicious…yeah..I could get used to that. 🙂
