I Love Her!

Though I know very little about her (aside from the fact that she stared in Precious which I’ve not yet seen,) I love Gabourey Sidibe. After seeing her at the Oscars briefly, I’m hopeful that she’ll have a blooming career in Hollywood in the coming years. With Oprah in her corner, I’d say her chances are pretty good.

What I need to know is where does this girl get these amazing clothes?! Seriously..I would guess that she weighs somewhere between where I am now and where I started. And she looks fantastic! I would LOVE to tap into her wardrobe…:)

(She’s seriously so stylish and cute….just sayin’…)

I was so happy to see someone who has a body that’s similar to mine rocking it at the Oscars tonight. It actually made the show worth watching – at least for 20 seconds when they showed her…She looked so happy (and rightfully so.) I hope she’s as happy as she deserves to be now! I wish her all the best in her career and in the rest of her life…

I agree! She is absolutely beautiful – but rich, she can probably afford to get her clothes tailor made and altered to fit perfectly, and they do. But, I'm with you, I'd love to get her hand-me-downs!

I'm always so encouraged when I see plus size women dressing nice. These were great pics. Love the little blue dress and vest outfit! I'd wear something like that! I'm really inspired by the way Queen Latifa dresses. If I looked that good in clothes…I'd have so much more confidence. I'm glad bigger women are making it big in Hollywood and can break down some of the myths that only thin people are beautiful and talented.

She is very stylish and seems to be quite a fun person. Maybe a clothing designer will get smart and hook up with her to produce a line.

I just love how she always seems so cheerful, humble, excited & happy – a refreshing change from the entitled, snobbish stars her age.

I didn't watch the Oscars, but I did watch a fashion review type show on Monday night. She was one of the ones everyone raved about – her taste, her look, etc. It was nice to see a person of size who looks so great!

She is adorable! I've seen her in several interviews and she has a great sense of humor. She had a wonderful attitude about her size and how Hollywood treats bigger women. I dying to see Precious. I went to rent it at a Redbox and it was out 🙁

I totally agree! She's such a cutie, it was so nice that the first few articles I read about her didn't even mention her weight. But then stupid howard stern had to be an a$%. Oh well. Go her!

She IS so cute, huh! And she does seem so happy, just like you. That's one of my favorite things about you babe, you're always smiling and excited about what you're doing. That's the only way to do this! Yayyy! (And ps- you do need to watch LOST season 1 next time you're sick- you'll get addicted. It's amazing)
