This has been a wonderful weekend so far, and it’s just getting started. 🙂 Sarah came in from Boston Thursday. She joined me at my weekly weigh-in, and I showed a 2 pound gain. This is the first time I’ve ever gained twice in a row, and I hope it’s the only time. I was upset about it, but the fact is that I’ve become a little too relaxed since losing the first 100 pounds so I shouldn’t be too surprised. I can enjoy dinner with friends, eating an occasional piece of cake (which will be happening later today) and still lose weight. I just have to regain the focus I’ve had in losing over the last year.
There is no question that I want to keep moving forward, and I need my actions to start reflecting that. When I do my best, it’s enough to lose so there will be no sulking or pretending that I don’t know why it happened. It’s a new week and a new opportunity to do my best, and there’s no time like the present to get started!
I’ve really enjoyed having Sarah here, and I’m looking forward to celebrating my birthday with several friends tomorrow. I’m also looking forward to starting to water challenge with everyone. The response has been extraordinary so far, and there’s still time to join us! The challenge starts Monday!

Sean and I will be drinking natural H2O that has not been chemically altered by aspartame and other chemicals that can be found in drinks like Crystal Light and other similar powder packets.
