Most of us know how important it is to drink water, but many of us don’t drink enough. So Sean from The Daily Diary of a Winning Loser and I have decided to challenge each other to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. We will begin on Monday, July 12 and end on Sunday, August 1st. Three weeks is long enough to form a positive, healthy habit – and that’s the goal.
Staying hydrated is important – especially during the summer. I love spending time in the sun walking/jogging, swimming and relaxing – all of which requires extra hydration. It’s good for our skin. It’s good for our blood flow, and it helps wash out toxins. It also helps me feel fuller throughout the day! Sometimes I think I’m hungry then I realize that I’m actually just thirsty.
I’m pretty good at drinking at least 8 glasses a day because I drink about 32 oz. during an average workout so my goal is to stay hydrated throughout the day even if that means I need to drink more than I do now.
Water is essential to good health so we’re going to drink more of it. And we’d love for you to join us. One of the reasons I love this blogging, weight-loss community is that we are in this together. If you want to be part of the challenge then leave a comment on my blog or Sean’s before Monday stating how much water you’d like to drink each day. If 8 glasses seems too hard, try 6.
We will post our updates on Sunday evenings, and we want to hear about your progress as well!
If you’re ready to form healthy habits then join us. If you already rock your daily water intake then please share your tips and tricks with us..
One more thing…
This message is for those of you interested in joining us for this challenge. Before we begin please be aware that there is such a thing as drinking too much water. Please understand that our personal goals are to drink 64 oz. per day which is widely accepted as a healthy amount of water consumption.
