Cardio Exercise Gym

I Did It!

I went to the YMCA today as planned, and I completed over two miles on the elliptical. I burned 400 calories in half an hour, and I know I could do a lot more though I’d want to change into different socks. Ha

Then when I left the cardio room I went to the pool and swam an entire mile! 🙂 In my last post I said I’d try that soon, and soon became today. I couldn’t believe it. During my 30th lap I realized I’d easily finish, and a huge grin appeared on my face..then I choked on water. LOL But I resumed, and I feel so accomplished right now.

It may not be a big deal to everyone, but I broke my own record today. In fact, I smoked it. 🙂 I feel strong and capable, and that feels good.

That's great Kenz! Isn't it amazing how much those goals mean to us? Whether it's 4 miles on the elliptical, or running a 5K, it's just a great feeling. BTW, if you're staying in OK, have you thought about hitting up a nearby WW meeting? Maybe you could find one on Thursday nights. Just a thought. Good job!

Whoa, thatsa lotta laps! Soo wonderful. I am starting to jog a little bit, and am always surprised at what I can do when I put my mind to it and push me.

I've seen Jillian M push the contestants on TBL, and I'm sure they are amazed at what they can do. She (and you) know the body is capable of amazing things.

It is a very big deal. You absolutely owned that pool. And you believed in yourself beyond what you thought possible just a day prior, saying to yourself–goal? Whatever, I'm doing it now! You're an amazing inspiration and beautiful example to me. Thank you.

Way to go Kenz! Those little things are so important in this game. Honestly, it's 7:36 AM and I'd rather go back to bed, but this post inspired me to go do my morning yoga. Thank you!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! There is nothing better than setting a goal and reaching it . . . and soon! You are doing amazingly well, and I am so happy that you've reached this goal for yourself. You're an inspiration to get my rear end moving! Hey, I took the stairs today… 😉 I'm trying to stay accountable in my blog too.

    Small victories.

Way to go, Kenz! Congratulations. You continue to inspire me. It's funny, I just finished posting my blog and I wrote about the lack of goals in my life. Now I'll definitely have to set at least some exercise goals for myself. Congratulations again!
