Friend Makin' Mondays Holidays

Friend Makin’ Mondays: Holiday

My weekend flew by! It was extraordinarily busy, but I enjoyed every minute of it. And now it’s that time again…if you want to be included in the awesomeness that is Friend Makin’ Mondays, just copy the question below and share your unique on your blog. Link up at the bottom of this post then take a few minutes to visit and comment on other FMM blog posts.

I know it’s kind of early to talk about the holidays, but as we approach Halloween and experience cooler weather, I find myself looking forward to the coming months. 🙂 And while my favorites are coming up soon, there are so many! I’d love to hear about your favorite too.

What is your favorite holiday?

It’s hard for me to choose just one holiday so I’m choosing two: Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love the whole holiday season and everything it brings…I love the parties, time with family, tasty dinners and presents. And I like seeing people walking down the street joyfully. I also love the weather!

The picture below is with the real Santa. 😉 I met him at the North Pole inside of Macy’s on 34th St. a few months before I began my weight-loss journey..
Now will you share your favorite holiday? What makes it special to you?

**I’m not sure why Mister Linky isn’t showing up properly today, but if you click “You’re Next” you will see a list of this week’s participants and, of course, add your own link. So take a moment to visit and comment. And enjoy your Monday!**

I love 4th of July!!!! I am all about the cooking out, the friend coming to my house and having a few, the kids not closing the damn door and running up my electric bill, and of course, the huge fireworks display that starts a little too early every year. One day we will wait till it is completely dark, I just know it!!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, because that's the holiday my family hosts every year! We get to be all together, at home, cooking our favorite foods the way WE like them, etc. Selfish much? lol I do also love Christmas and Easter more for their MEANING than the parties/celebrations. And who doesn't love getting gifts?!
