My healthy living has been going really well this week. I’m so happy to report that I’ve eaten well again today, and I completed a 5k as well. I know that if I keep doing what I’m doing, I’ll see the results I want to see on the scale. I’m feeling good, and I’m just going to keep taking it one day at a time because that seems to work. And small steps turn into big results.
Instead of talking about weight-loss or exercise or healthy living, I feel like talking about TV. Thanks to the USA Network, I have a few favorite shows right now. My favorite is still White Collar, but I also love Suits and Necessary Roughness. I like Burn Notice, Covert Affairs and Royal Pains too though I don’t always remember to watch those. Is anyone else watching these shows?
I don’t usually watch much TV, but this summer I’ve embraced these shows as well as Drop Dead Diva and a couple of shows on TLC – Say Yes to the Dress and Extreme Couponing. If I watched all of these shows (and I usually do) I’d be devoting 8 hours per week to watching TV. I typically watch these shows at the end of the night when I’m in bed, but it still seems like a lot of TV.
Is it normal to have so many favorite TV shows? Either way, I think DVR is the greatest invention ever, and my habits aren’t likely to change. I’m just wondering how much TV everyone else is watching.
