Simple Question

I’ve never really been a coffee drinker, but I have a new love for iced coffee. And I’ve always loved warm and cold tea and hot cocoa. What about you?

Do you drink coffee? Yes or No?

I have a fun reason for asking, and I’ll the details early next week so come back soon! Β And have a happy Saturday!Β

New follower (as of a few days ago) and loving your site. Anyway, I LOVE coffee (cold or hot). Not much of a tea drinker myself (for some reason I have in my head that I can only drink hot tea when I have a sore throat). Love iced tea (unsweetened) though. πŸ™‚ Ok, so you asked about coffee. I digress. Love it! Have a Keurig machine and drink all kinds of flavors. Can’t wait to hear your reason for asking. πŸ™‚

Yep I am a coffee drinker for sure! I have been for a long time now. I do one cup daily; on the rare occasion I’ll have two. Hot or iced. Doesn’t matter! πŸ™‚

I love coffee, but didn’t develop a taste for it until I was in my early 30’s and went back to school.

Yes, cold, hot, warm, reheat…love the stuff. I don’t drink alot but a good cup of java makes me happy. My daughter makes a mean mocha with her italian stovetop esspresso maker and homemade chocolate syrup. Not bad for a 16 year old.

My summer favorite is cold brew iced coffee. YUMM! and it carries quite the punch.

I LOVE coffee, but I try to limit myself to a few times a week. I really like to go to Speedway (they have really good coffee bars) and get a medium coffee with a few pumps of sugar-free caramel syrup, two packs of splenda, and a dash of cinnamon. SO GOOD.

Yes. Mostly in the morning. I also have a Keurig, which I LOVE. I get my cup of coffee in about 30 seconds, and I don’t waste coffee like I used to.

Yes, I like coffee. I have given it up for different periods of time and haven’t noticed a change in anything at all when I do. The only difference is that I am not drinking yummy, tasty, hot coffee!

I love the smell of coffee but not much of a fan of the taste. I have to ‘doctor’ it a lot w/ creamer and sweetener when I was drinking it. What is interesting is that I LOVE coffee ice cream. I really only drink hot tea at Chinese food restaurants and I do not drink iced tea at all. Hot cocoa is great in the winter.

love cold coffee, but not hot….weird right???

I am mainly a tea drinker, green is my fav. Hot chocolate is awesome too but only on special occasions….too many calories….lol

After a workout trainers at my gym suggest chocolate milk. You can get 100 calories cartons now which has way less sugar. They say the calcium, fat, and protein are a great post workout fix…..

Love my morning coffee! Regular not flavored! During the day , esp in the summer, I will drink homemade decaf iced tea… I have a huge selection of flavored regular and decaf teas that I rely on during the cooler/freezing cold evenings. When I get that desire to munch.. and I KNOW my body doesn’t need any more calories Hot drinks to the rescue! I can get the oral stimulation that drinking a warm beverage will provide, hydration that we all need but no calories! Occasionally I splurge and have a, International coffee splurge but a mug of that is only around 50 calories. I do like Cocoa but drink it sparingly and only as part of my daily caloric intake.. I really try to NOT drink my calories for the day.

Count me as one of the ones who like the smell of coffee, but not the taste! I don’t drink tea, either – I know a Southerner who doesn’t drink iced tea???? My husband doesn’t drink coffee or tea, either. We got a coffee pot for a wedding present 26 years ago, and it is still in its box, taken out only when my parents come to visit! I do like hot chocolate in the winter.

Can’t do straight coffee. I started in the last year drinking lattes or a capaccuino. They have much more calories and sugar than normal coffee though as it really is milk with a splash of coffee. But, I try to limit them to only winter time and I do go for the skim or non fat milk, and sugar free flavor. It helps.

Yes, I have one cup every morning with my sugar-free vanilla or hazelnut creamer (and yes, I’ve have tried ALL kinds of healthier substitutes in order to wean myself from it, but nothing else comes close). It is very much a ritual!

I’m so amused that home made iced coffee is now all abuzz. I’ve been making iced coffee at home now for over a year and it it’s so convenient, inexpensive, and so much yummier then the coffee shops. Every week I make our “free base” (hubby called it that and it stuck!) Which is strong brewed coffee with half a cup of sugar and half a cup of creamer, let it cool then keep it in the fridge. It lasts about five days. In the morning I grab a cup, fill with I’ve cubes, flavor, a little milk and fill with free base and I’m off. Easy as that! It’s my favorite way to drink coffee!

I drink coffee now, but I didn’t until I started dating my husband 18 years ago. I only drank tea at that point, but I tried coffee (because he couldn’t understand how I could NOT drink it, lol). At first I put so much sweetener and cream in it that he called my drink “Wuss in a Cup.” (How romantic!) He drank his black, of course, and strong enough to melt the spoon. Since then we’ve met in the middle: I drink it hot or cold with moderate additions, and he will add creamer and a dab of sugar to his once in a while. Iced coffee is my favorite evening treat, instead of another kind of snack.

I strongly dislike coffee, but I enjoy tea and cocoa. Coffee is just way too bitter, no matter how much flavoring, cream, or sugar I try to add.

Nope, not a coffee drinker. I experimented in college (hey, who didn’t), but I never picked up the habit! Sometimes I kind of regret it as coffee is such a “social” drink. But, oh well!

I wish I could find a perfume that smells like fresh brewed coffee, lol! I love that smell – and I love a good cup of coffee, too. Mostly I like my coffee strong and black, although on Saturday mornings, I often indulge in a tall skinny latte at my favorite bohemian-style coffee house. That plus a good book and some people-watching is a great way to kick-off the weekend.

I also have a Keurig at work and love being able to make a cup first thing in the morning when I get there.

Coffee is da bomb! I had a FF/SF Raspberry Mocha frappe this morning and it was yum. My body has become addicted to coffee. If I don’t get my caffeine everyday, I get a killer headache. So I like the taste of coffee but hate that my body HAS to have it.

    Hi Kenz,
I used to drink one cup of black coffee, no sugar, no milk in the mornings but when I got pregnant I stopped drinking it. I come from Colombia and one of the most important products that we export to the world is our Coffee. Have you ever tried Colombian coffee before? If not let me know and I may send you some.
    Hope you are doing great.

Yes, I drink coffee, but only decaffeinated. Even the iced coffee I make for my daughter is decaf and sweetened creamer of course, but very little added sugar. (I take a few sips too.) πŸ™‚

I have also been brewing decaf tea and icing it this summer. I make it with no sugar, just lemon. That is a changed palate for sure! My dh & I have been enjoying it frequently. And I was a pretty strict water & black coffee only drinker. I have branched out. haha

YES! Coffee all the way…1 cup every morning (cream and maybe some turbinado sugar), and during the school year once in the afternoon (just black coffee; doing a PhD…it’s almost a must to have that afternoon jolt). And I grind my own coffee beans which just takes the flavor up a notch. There’s just something so warm and comforting about a good cup of coffee. Yes on the tea and hot chocolate, but it’s just not quite coffee. πŸ™‚

Coffee tends to be a little too caffeinated for me. I ordered a latte on Friday just cuz I felt like having a low points treat and I was BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS. I tend to stick to diet coke even though coffee would probably be better for me.
