Who Wants To EatSmart?

We’re ten days into the new year, and I’m guessing that most of us are still working to live healthy lives everyday.  One thing I use to stay on track is myEatSmart digital kitchen scale.  I love it, and I’ve use it several times a day since I got it in May.  I weigh chicken and other meats and nuts, cereal…and I even use it to measure things like salad dressing and peanut butter in grams.  It’s easy to use and features more than a few weight options and a giant screen that is easy to read.  It’s also easier to turn on and off than my last kitchen scale.

I don’t know what I’d do without my kitchen scale, and EatSmart is going to give one Eat Smart Precision Pro Kitchen Scale to one of my readers!

There’s more than one way to enter so take a few minutes to check out the options!

1) Take a look at the EatSmart Precision Pro Kitchen Scale then come back and tell me if you want to win it!  (one entry)

2) Follow @eatsmartscales on twitter and tell them @alltheweigh says hi! (two entries)  You should get to know them too…They’re good folks!  If you already follow them, just let me know in a separate comment.

3) Like EatSmart on Facebook and tell them you’re participating in this giveaway.  Feel free to tell me hi on my page too though it’s not required to receive your entry:facebook.com/alltheweighblog (two entries)

4) Blog about this giveaway on your blog.  Feel free to keep it short and sweet.  Just don’t forget to link back to this post! (three entries)

Each entry must be separate to count as an additional entry so keep that in mind, and go for it!  A winner will be chosen at 9pm on Sunday, January 15th!

Do you use a kitchen scale?  If so, does it make life easier for you?

We got an EatSmart scale (though not this one) when my daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two years ago, and used it religiously for months until we had a good idea what serving sizes looked like for her carb counting. We’ve been talking about pulling it out again, not only because she has strayed a bit from those serving sizes and her blood sugar numbers are a bit high, but also because I know it would really benefit me in my weight loss efforts. They make great scales – whoever wins this will be lucky!

I just went and looked at the EatSmart scale & it looks great. I currently have a small scale that I purchased from the grocery store & I think having a new one that is much bigger would help me stay on track!

Hey Kenz still bummed that the husband is off today …just kidding Marty!! Really wanted to come to NYC to see you….Oh about the scale, yes I want to win one…I have been measuring with the 1 cup and 1/2 cup spoons that WW has to offer, but a scale would be great. I like the style, it would look good on my counter, while I work it!!!

I guess my brain just hasn’t been working right lately. I never once thought to weigh my peanut butter. So thanks for that great tip. I used to fight to measure it out with a measuring spoon. Silly me 🙂

Mine too. I think a lot of us feel that way…I’m still baffled by the amount we receive in a restaurant v what an actual portion is..

I would love to win it–I don’t have a kitchen scale and have heard that they are quite useful not only for recipes but also for making sure you are eating the correct portions.

I would love it. I cook mainly Spanish food which i sometimes cannot find the correct Cal. intake, I think maybe if I weight it I’ll have a better knowledge of what I am consuming.

I SOOO want/need a scale. I used to have one when I lived with my in-laws but since moving I am back to “eye-balling” it. 🙂 I love your blog by the way!!

I would love to win this scale! I think I’d have more success if I weighed my food rather than measured it. 🙂

I would love to win this! I could definitely use it in our kitchen. The scale I have is an old analogue one from probably 1980. My mom used it when she did weight watchers.

I have always been resistant to weighing and measuring…it seems so official….however, it is probably exactly what I need. So, even though I don’t necessarily want the scale, I believe I need it.

    Thanks for doing this Kenlie!

I want to win this! I’ve heard the benefits of measuring with weight vs amount (cups) and I’d love to start doing it 🙂

I totally want a scale like that. I use the kind with the sliding plastic piece, and it’s a bit inexact. My mom just got a digital scale, and i was tempted to steal it after dinner the other night. So yes, sign me up!

I would love to win this scale. i just found out that I need to go gluten free and with the different types of flours and starches i will need to cook weighing them out would be much more precise than just a measuring cup!
