Weigh-In weight loss

Seeing Stars

As I was walking from the living room to my bedroom a minute ago in the dark I misjudged the distance and slammed into my door frame, and it made me see stars.

I had planned to write a post that I’ll have to write later, as I’m dizzy with an aching arm.)  There will definitely be a big bruise on it when I wake up. Ouch!)

I do want to quickly say that I’ve lost 7 pounds in the last 28 days according to my official WW weigh-in. It could always be more, but I’ll take it.

It was nice to see friendly, familiar faces, but I’m pleased with the results of calorie counting so I’ll continue that for the next several weeks. I hope to see another considerable decrease a month from now.

I also exercised hard tonight so it’s been another good day (apart from almost knocking myself out moments ago.)

What are your plans for the weekend? I’ll be in New York…hopefully not running into things. 😉

For now, I plan to sleep and dream happy dreams. Fill me in on what’s happening in your world…

    Great work on the loss Kenlie – 7lbs in a month sounds to be basically on track with what the ‘experts’ say, isn’t it? And you’ve been working hard exercise-wise.

    I’ve just had a day off here in Oz (my new 4 day working week) so got some writing in etc. No exercise, but that’s okay as I’m planning a gym class either Saturday or Sunday to make up for today!

    I’ve done that too where I knock into something because I miscalculated. I hope you aren’t too hurt! It really does sting both the ego and physically 🙂 My boyfriend makes fun of my klutziness

    Congratulations!!!! I am stuck right now, but it’s completely my fault for letting Diet Day Off turn into Diet WEEK Off. And climbing back on the wagon suuucks. Am taking comfort in the fact that I only gained 1 pound, but still, every “lost week” is one more week at the end of this thing. So my weekend plan is to stay the course and tackle the next 7 pounds so I can go get me a massage reward.

    Ouch! Gotta be careful in the dark. Hopefully your arm doesn’t bruise too bad! When I’m walking and calculating distance (no matter how accurate I think my calculations are) I always walk with my hands out infront of me. I might look silly, but too many lessons learned by seeing the stars once smacking straight into something. Once in a while I get overly confident and still smack straight into the wall or some other inanimate object. lol
    Congrats on the 7 pound loss! Hopefully I start seeing results soon since I just restarted this week with exercise.
    Have fun in NYC! Hopefully I’ll get to visit there one day.

    My old gym had these protrusions sticking out from the sides of the corridor when you walked to the locker rooms. I was walking out one night, talking to someone, and walked right into the part that stuck out, almost knocking myself right onto my butt. Luckily I caught most of it with my chest, and not my face! I laughed so hard, mainly because I was kind of embarrassed and hoped no one else saw it happen! LOL
