Sunday is going to be an exciting day because I’m taking part in an important walk with my “angel in the office” and the American Cancer Society.
Gina has been a blessing to me since the moment I walked into Tulane for the first time flustered and confused in January, and I can’t wait to walk in support and celebration of her.
This beautiful woman has spent most of the last year making sure that I have healthy options before every class.
When I’m standing in front of the vending machine looking disappointed she walks up with a fresh piece of fruit or a salad or a Fiber One brownie. She’s always there for me, and this Sunday I’ll have the opportunity to be there for her.
She’s important to me so please take a few minutes to listen to her story. You’ll be glad you did.
In her video, Gina talks about the importance of self-examinations, and she believes they’re important for men too. Have you ever done a self-examination?

October 4, 2012 at 7:50 amWhat a beautiful thing to do. Since moving I have yet to find that kind of friend here. I have had one throughout my life that has looked after me and that I could turn to and miss not having one! It is sooo important and she is a treasure! Keep a hold of her xoxo
