Simple Things

The day after Christmas is never as much fun as Christmas Day, but I’m still with my family so I’m happy.

We had a white Christmas complete with freezing temperatures, and good times. After opening presents and eating an incredible lunch, we all went to the movies together. It continued to snow so we spent the evening inside.

Hannah and I snuggled for a while before going to her room to play and read books. I love being with her, and I wish I had as much energy as she does every day. I plan to work on that in the coming year.

My holiday was simple, but I was surrounded by my family and snowflakes. I am thankful for my life and the people I love.  We have a lot planned over the next few days, and I’m looking forward to all of it.

How was your holiday?

  1. I am a tad jealous of your white Christmas and freezing temperatures. It was HOT in Florida! My holiday was wonderful, once it arrived. Unfortunately I was exhausted from long hours at work (retail).

  2. Hello
I’ve been following your blog for quite sometime and I’m so inspired with your weight loss journey.
So in the spirit of christmas I decided to say hi!!

My Christmas holiday was good but dangerous with so many gatherings and good food around.
I really have discipline myself to do more exercise to balance the intake.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday!

  3. Such cute photos Kenlie! Not jealous of the snow though- I may be the only person on the planet who can’t stand the stuff! LOL Glad you had a great holiday!

  4. So jealous of that snow, we never get snow here (also from southern Louisiana). You look really happy and I love that sweater.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!
