EatSmart Makes Eating Smart Easy

I’ve been feeling good about my workouts lately, and I’ve been doing well with my food intake too. I can still improve a lot, but I feel like I’m finding my way back to a healthy track.

I’m making an effort to eat at home more often because it’s easier to make good choices when I do. I weigh and measure everything at home, and I want you to be able to do it too which leads me to today’s topic.

My new EatSmart food scale is amazing. I love every EatSmart product that I own, but this scale is particularly awesome because it’s easy to use, easy to read and the platform for measurement is much bigger than any other food scale I’ve ever owned. My favorite thing about this scale is its giant, lighted display, but I also appreciate how easy it is to make note of exactly what I’m consuming.

When I eat a giant salad I like a little salad dressing, but it’s easy to eat more of it than we realize we’re eating so I place my salad on the scale, and I measure one serving of dressing. It is a lot more precise than using a spoon, or eyeballing it.

It looks nice on my counter too so it’s already ready to use when I’m ready to measure. When it’s easy to do it, we’re more likely to make good choices. I’m not the only one who feels this way, right?

I would very much like to win this scale. I have a hard time figuring out values when I’m cooking fresh meat and produce and it would really help me quite a lot.

I already have a scale, but it looks like this one would be so much easier to keep clean. Love using it for salad dressing – so much easier than dirtying a measuring spoon!

Always love the chance to win something fun and fab! This would be a great prize too as my hubby and I are always on the look out for a good food scale. We have had a few, but they were either too flimsy or too user Unfriendly.

Anyways…after reading the description…I’d have to say my fav thing about this is either the precision it touts (both cooking AND baking) or the fact that it factors OUT the weight of the plate. We had one that we had to weight each individual thing and holy cow, what a mess!

I’d love to win. I don’t normally make new year’s resolutions but i did and i wanna be thinner and healthier by my 30th birthday in November . Not gonna put a number just need to be more consistent and disciplined. I have PCOS so it’s way harder for me to lose weight. Sigh. I always start and stop. I really want one of these, but I have nowhere to keep it in our super tiny, super crowded kitchen.

Also, if I remember right, unless the specific gravity of a fluid is equal to 1, 1 liquid ounce does not equal 1 weighted ounce. Water at 32* has a specific gravity of 1.
