Will You Please Share Your Blog URL?

I’ve been out of the loop lately, and now that classes are over for the semester, I have time to catch up on the awesome blog posts that I’ve been missing.  I like to read health blogs, fashion blogs, baking blogs…I have a variety of interests, and I’d like to compile a new list of sites that I can read while drinking a cup of coffee or tea.

Will you please share your blog address so I can read it?  

One more thing…does anyone have a suggestion for keeping up with blogs now that Google Reader no longer exists?

    Hi! I’m also a reader/lurker.

    I blog about my weight loss, I lost 100lbs, but have gained back 10lbs this year so trying to get back on track lately. I also blog occasionally about my running and healthy food and my love of baking – Hope you come by and visit 🙂

    Also, I use Slick RSS for Chrome to keep track of the blogs I read. It’s a browser-based reader you can find through the Chrome store if you google it.

    As for the blogs/RSS feeds I use the free version of Almost as good as Google Reader, just missing the amazing search features a bit.

    Bloglovin is really easy to use. I have the app on my phone and it makes it easy to stay cauggt up on your faves! Like All the Weigh!:)

    I also use bloglovin and think it is SO much nicer then google reader was. Very easy to organize and go through.

    I have two – one sad neglected craft blog, with a fair bit of (older) content

    And I’m just starting up a fitness blog

    I use The Old Reader for my blogs. I like it because it’s practically google reader.

    I use bloglovin – like anything else it takes a little getting used to. No problems with it.

    I love bloglovin’ for my blog reading, it’s much easier when everything is in one place. Feedly is also a good one.

    I’m also a long-time lurker – I LOVE your blog, you are so inspirational. I lost 35 lbs 6 years ago, and keeping it off is a daily struggle. I’m up 10 and am having a b**** of a time getting it back off. My blog – – is healthy recipes that make enough for leftovers since I absolutely Hate to have to cook every day, and for fun, some nail art. I get updates by e-mail, and it’s working so far for me.

    I use Bloglovin as well- mainly because it means they all get sent to my inbox and I don’t have to go anywhere to find them. I get the headlines and a brief blurb, I can click to read more if I want to.

    This is my main blog, focusing on the day too day stuff as well as my attempts to shake the rest of this weight, though lately its just been the daily stuff, and the last few days about are dog’s latest mishap.

    This is my sewing blog. It may be down for a bit somewhere in the next few days as I am in the midst of transferring the domain name. I make most of my own clothes as well as accessories.

    This is my food blog where I share the recipes we tried and loved. There’s a little of everything in there, and definitely some baking!

    My blog is – it’s a mish mash of my family, life in Nebraska, and my attempts at cooking, weight loss, etc. Right now I don’t have much time to blog, but I am trying to check in every so often!

    I initially switched to The Old Reader when Google Reader ceased to exist. I hated it, but that was probably because there were a gazillion others trying to import their feeds at the same time. I had better luck with the free version of Feedly and I love it!

    This post is sheer genius, as I’ll be grabbing lots of the URL’s for my own reader as well.

    Here’s mine, its about Weight Watchers, marathon training, and partnering.

    When google reader went away I moved to feedly. Can’t say I’m entirely happy with it, so I may check out the alternatives suggested in this thread.

    I like Bloglovin’ for keeping up with blogs. The awesome thing about Bloglovin’ is that unlike other RSS readers, you actually get hits on your blog when someone reads it through Bloglovin’. So you’re spreading the love!

    When Google Reader said good bye I turned to feedly to keep me updated on my blog reading – I use their app on my ipad for easy reading on the go too!

    I, too, am back in school and so during the semester my blog ( gets neglected…but after tonight my break begins and I hope to be back at it on the regular again!

    My blog isn’t very active right now, but one of my resolutions for next year is to write more in my blog. I find blogging is very fulfilling and I really enjoy looking back and reading old entries I wrote at different times in my life. I’ve been a blogger for 12 years now on numerous different sites and since some of my sites keep disappearing, I made my own blog a little over a year ago.     This is not my ‘health’ blog… it is my blog tht I use MUCH more than that one. It is the journalling of our life after our 12yr old son was shot in the head 2008 in a freak accident and and how not only he survived but we all did as a family of 3 Brain Injury Survivors.

    My health/fitness/adventures blog is I detail all the things I am up to there and goals and whatnot. It’s usually got some pretty good stuff on it and it updated at least once a week if not more. Depends how excited I am about my current round of workouts and such. If you read from the start it talks a lot about how I lost 80 pounds and went from fat to fit! The thinking and effort it took to achieve that and so on.

    My other blog is and it’s basically a place to create and share art, sketches and drawings that I have done. I’d love to have some more contributors and such to the site and I think it would be really great to have a bit more collaboration on the whole thing to help be inspired.

It is a new blog and I only have a couple of followers. It is at I’ve already lost about 100 pounds and I still have a lot to lose. This blog focuses on my food and exercise as I try to get to my goal weight using weight watchers.

    Although I miss Google Reader every day, I’m now enjoying Feedly as my main blog reader, although I have looked at Bloglovin and Old Reader (is based on Google Reader’s style/format so that GR readers find it familiar)

    I must be old-fashioned, because I’ve never been able to follow blogs with a reader. I need to have it delivered to my email inbox. If an blog doesn’t offer that option, I don’t follow. Although I know a lot people who love bloglovin’

    I guess I didn’t have a real purpose to my blog. It was part food and running (before injuries) and part restaurant exploration in the Twin Cities metro area. Plus I’m a dog lover with fur-children, so that’s included, too. So maybe it’s just about my life. I nearly always try to recount my travels.

    No matter what, I find that people who follow me like to read about new ideas for food. Even if they don’t live in my area, they get ideas for dishes when I talk about the places I visit.
