Does Anyone Here Still Blog? If So, Will You Share Your Link?

I’ve been quiet here lately, which is a trend that will most likely continue for now. I still enjoy writing and connecting with friends through social media, but my everyday life is pretty packed right now.

Michael and I take time to rest every week, but we have to be intentional about it because we are both busy with work, our church, and our friends and family. He’s an accountant, so his days are filled with things that are mind-numbingly boring to me. I’ve learned a lot from him though, and I’m so thankful that I’m learning how to discipline myself with money. (I talk about that more on my other blog, though I’ve been quiet there lately too.)

I accepted an offer as an Admissions Rep at Tulane University in December, and I feel so blessed/lucky/thankful that I was able to start a new chapter in a place that is already familiar to me. I still have so much to learn, but I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity.

I work in admissions, specifically with non-traditional students like me (people who have been out of school for a number of years and/or looking to change careers.) It’s already one of my favorite places to be, and I’m so happy to help others the way the awesome people there helped me. It was pretty cool to hear that my diploma will arrive soon too…finally. Another cool part about working full-time for the university is that I can continue going to school and pursuing degrees as long as I work there. (Um, I think we all know how much I love being in school, so I’m finishing up another degree now while thinking about what I’ll do next.)

Life at home is good too. Now that we’ve been married for several months, we’re in a great groove. I love being married to Michael, and we’re learning and growing individually and together. It’s awesome. We’re leading a small group, and we strive to spend quality time together and with our friends and family. My heart is full. I have so much more than anyone deserves, and I’m utterly grateful. Everything good that I have comes from the Lord…everythingAccepting Jesus has been the best, most life-changing decision I’ve ever made. Trusting God opened the door to these other good things.

It’s odd, as a blogger, to say that I don’t enjoy talking about every aspect of my life as much as I did before, but I know okay. People change, and I hope I never stop changing and evolving.

Does anyone here still blog? If so, will you share a link so I can check in and see what you’re saying?

Hey there Kenlie! Long time, no see! Sorry for the long silence here. I know I’ve sort of fallen off the grid over the past few months and have some MAJOR catching up to do. And hey, congrats on getting married! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this! I really have been gone for a while.

I hope that you and Michael will be very happy. 🙂 He has the same name as me; awesome!! 🙂
Also happy to hear that you’re doing so well. Amen to that!

I still blog. Just not as often as I could, or should. It’s not much, but if you like looking at painted postcards (that I painted), book reviews and basic outfits that I wear, feel free to drop by my blog, Post Card Purposes.

I don’t get many readers so I hope you’ll check it out!

Here’s my link – it’s a fitness page that will detail how a person who was born a blue baby and had open heart surgery has become a cardiac athlete.

I’ve got 2 blogs going. My main one is life in general and the other is for my Halloween display so it’s kind of quiet this time of year.

I still blog just not very often. I tend to treat it more as a personal way to keep track of everything in life. My family also reads and they enjoy it!

girl, you deserved everything you have. you’re an amazing and wonderful person and an inspiration, whether or not you choose to see yourself that way. i have always admired your passion and your strength. you are one of my top 3 favorite blogs, hands down.

i too have shifted gears with my blog. i used to run a LOT and wrote about it a LOT as well. now I’m not really running…on hiatus, i guess. but I’ve been writing a lot about what is filling my life lately and I’m honestly in love with my life right now. my life, like yours, is full and fulfilling.

I came looking for your Thoughtful Thinking Thursday link up that had a wrong link on another blog. I started a blog about my ‘new’ experience of moving from the US to New Zealand many years ago but got to a point where my posts are sporadic; however, my photoblog of New Zealand is quite active and I love link ups with photos.

Blogging isn’t for everybody and is always evolving. If you don’t enjoy blogging, then, by all means, don’t feel obligated to do so 🙂
